Outubro de 2023 marcou o lançamento de I FEEL IN THE SKY, nono álbum solo de LÊ ALMEIDA. O disco foi gravado entre 2022 e 2023, durante algumas tours de sua banda ORUÃ, com mais de 120 shows nos EUA e Europa. O disco foi apresentado em Sou’wester, durante a primeira residência artística em que Lê Almeida participou nos Estados Unidos em Seaview, Washington.
Sua gravadora independente Transfusão Noise Records nasceu dentro do seu quarto em 2004 em Vilar dos Teles, Baixada Fluminense e emergiu para o centro do Rio de Janeiro em 2013 com o surgimento do Escritório, espaço voltado para gravações, ensaios e shows. Mais de 100 lançamentos foram feitos desde então. Lê exerceu grande função gravando e mixando a maioria desses discos, onde muitas das ideias visuais vinham de suas colagens, associando realismo fantástico a combinações improváveis de ambientes e cores.
A partir de 2011 dedicou-se às artes plásticas participando de exposições e oficinas de colagens, tanto individuais quanto coletivas. Seus discos solo Paraleloplasmos (2015) e Todas as Brisas (2016) o fizeram viajar pelo mundo das artes além do habitual cenário musical entre tours pelo Brasil. Ambos os discos foram lançados pela IFB Records, pequeno selo baseado em Atlanta que prensa seus LPs de modo independente e distribui por todo os Estados Unidos.
Oruã, sua principal banda, foi criada no fim de 2016 e a partir de 2018 passou a entrar de cabeça em viagens grandes divulgando seus primeiros discos gravados no Escritório em velhas fitas cassetes. 2018 foi o ano em que Almeida saiu do Brasil pela primeira vez. Indo tocar bateria com o Built to Spill no Chile e com o Oruã no Uruguai. Com o Built to Spill sua história começou em meados de 2018 quando passou a integrar a formação da banda em seus primeiros shows na América do Sul e no ano seguinte viajou entre Estados Unidos e Europa fazendo aproximadamente mais de 130 shows, 60 deles abrindo com o Oruã. Gravou e mixou o último lançamento do BtS, When the Wind Forgets Your Name (2022, SubPop) onde também atuou como baterista.
O show I FEEL IN THE SKY é baseado no material do disco que possui uma versão em vinil azul oceano lançado nos Estados Unidos e agora em 2025 está sendo distribuido no Brasil. Ao vivo Lê é acompanhado por alguns membros do Oruã, Retrato e Echo Upstairs.

October 2023 marked the release of I FEEL IN THE SKY, LÊ ALMEIDA’s ninth solo album. The album was recorded between 2022 and 2023, during the tour of his band ORUÃ, with more than 120 shows in the USA and Europe. The album was showcased at SouWester, during Lê Almeida’s first artistic residency in the United States, in Seaview, Washington.
His independent label Transfusão Noise Records was born in his bedroom in 2004 in Vilar dos Teles, Baixada Fluminense, and emerged in the center of Rio de Janeiro in 2013 with the creation of Escritório, a space for recording, rehearsals and shows. More than 100 releases have been made since then. Lê played a major role in recording and mixing most of these albums, where many of the visual ideas came from his collages, associating fantastic realism with improbable combinations of environments and colors.
Since 2011 he has dedicated himself to the visual arts, taking part in exhibitions and collage workshops, both individual and collective. His solo albums Paraleloplasmos (2015) and Todas as Brisas (2016) made him travel the art world beyond the usual music scene between tours of Brazil. Both albums were released by IFB Records, a small Atlanta-based label that presses his LPs independently and distributes them throughout the United States.
Oruã, his main band, was created at the end of 2016 and since 2018 he has been traveling extensively, promoting his first albums recorded at Escritório on old cassette tapes. 2018 was the year Almeida left Brazil for the first time. He went to play drums with Built to Spill in Chile and with Oruã in Uruguay. His story with Built to Spill began in mid-2018 when he joined the band for its first shows in South America and the following year he traveled between the United States and Europe playing more than 130 shows, 60 of them opening with Oruã. He recorded and mixed the latest BtS release, When the Wind Forgets Your Name (2022, SubPop), where he also played drums.
The show for I FEEL IN THE SKY is based on the record, which has an ocean blue vynil edition released in the States and now available in Brazil. He is accompanied live by members of Oruã, Retrato and Echo Upstairs.
